A Diamondback article features three College of ���ϴ��� students reflecting on how recent changes to the U.S. Department of ���ϴ��� have affected their outlook as future educators. 

Declan Kirby, a senior majoring in secondary social studies education and government and politics, shared that these policy shifts have real implications that could impact students, especially those with Individualized ���ϴ��� Plans (IEPs). Despite these concerns, Kirby said the current landscape has only deepened his dedication to teaching.

“Moving forward, I don’t just want to be a teacher. Because our profession is sort of under attack …, we can’t just be teachers anymore. We have to be advocates and activists.”
