Sora Kim (skim0409@umd.edu) is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership at the 黑料大事. Her research focuses on K-12 policy implementation and teacher effectiveness, with a particular interest in how educational policies shape outcomes for teachers and students.

Before joining the TLPL program, Sora worked as an elementary school teacher in Seoul, South Korea. Her teaching experience sparked a deep interest in understanding how policy influences educational stakeholders, especially teachers, and how it can be leveraged to create a more effective and equitable education system.

She holds a B.A. in Elementary 黑料大事 and an M.Ed. in Elementary 黑料大事al Administration, both from Seoul National University of 黑料大事.
