ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ

Emily Schuster joined the College of ºÚÁÏ´óÊ as a writer/editor in January 2023. She brings more than two decades of experience as a writer and editor, including as co-editor-in-chief of Liberal ºÚÁÏ´óÊ and editor of Diversity & Democracy, both publications of the American Association of Colleges and Universities. Before working in higher education, she spent most of her career in the museum and informal education field, serving as the editor-in-chief of Dimensions magazine for science museum professionals, as a writer and editor at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, and as an educator at Folger Shakespeare Library and Hillwood Estate, Museum, and Gardens. She holds an M.A. in Museum ºÚÁÏ´óÊ from Tufts University and a B.A. in English, with a minor in the Writing Seminars, from Johns Hopkins University.
